The International Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM) is a professional body representing all sectors of the plantation industry. It was founded in May 2006 as an offshoot of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
The establishment of IIPM with aimed at providing opportunities for those who are in the plantation industry to upgrade their academic and professional level and IIPM programs shall facilitate the planters fraternity to achieve their senior levels talent for the respective career. IIPM also play a vital role in assisting to uplift the profession of plantation industry equivalent to other popular professions in the country. The institute has also organizes course to train semi and skilled workers in terms of knowledge and skills of plantation activities as required by plantation sector.

Being a professional body, IIPM provides membership for those who are involved in the plantation or agriculture sector. The IIPM membership consists of eight grades and based on the experience, responsibility, contribution to the industry and education level. Members of IIPM have many benefits including the right to use the relevant post-nominal and recognition as member of professional organization.
